Straight from Long Island NY, The League have a lot to talk about these days, and why not. From winning the coveted award of 2007 UMA Best Rap Group, Being featured in AllHipHop.com's 'The Breeding Ground', performing on every stage inthe tristate area, to a slew of mixtape appearances with the likes of DJ Kay Slay, Big Mike, Ron G, DJ Gooch and Remy Ma's DJ, Bedtyme357, there is no doubt these guys exemplify the definition of grind.
In an era where Hip Hop music from the east isn't appreciated as much throughout radio, The League's movement perseveres. On January 30th 2008,The League was also presented with the First UNI (Unsigned and Indie) Best Male Rap Group Award at Club Snitch at The Unsigned Shines Industry Showcase.
The League ALSO just released their follow up mixtape album entitled 'LIRR' Vol 2; Third Rail hosted by G Unit Co Founder Sha Money XL. (whom also produced more than half of the mixtape along with The Produecerz). 'The League is one of those new young, fly and flashy groups that have incredible lyrics, style and talent' says Sha Money ' I see them doing big things ' The League's previous mixtape 'LIRR' Vol 1 Hosted by Hot 97's Kay Slay was recently nominated for the11th annual Justo 'Top 10 Street Albums' With combined press features, accolades like airplay on Hot 97 and Shade 45 as well as opening for artists such as Saigon, Jae Millz, Uncle Murda and Joell Ortiz, The League are surely destined to be one of hip hop's iconic groups.

| You got the MP3 or you talkin about the AHH link? I like the Cani cat the most. The pitch/harmony of the hook is addictive. Eveytime I listen I like it more. The flow is a little too predictable. Serial, crimminal, lyrical, minimal...a little too much. Buy when you're trying to reach most cats- that's about their limit for lyrical dexterity. Look at who they're praising as the best now. Shameful. Dudes from LI too. Close to home. The stutter on the snare is it too. I like the kicks and music being tied together. One sample repeat triggered. I didn't think you'd like this. I'm suprised. What are you doing today? Aside from pissing off J...

| Oh yes, I can get down with the golden age stuff. Waynes a beast. Don't front. I just don't like some of his deliveries. It's too playful- like trying too hard not to care about his vocals. Today, I got get this Rock and Roll dude the IK stuff so he finishes this article. I got the NI stuff from Sean Maru last night. I'm doing the first edits now...he's nice. i was thinking of doing some micron patches. Can you hook that up? I played with it at GC this weekend and it didn't look as bad as people say. I'm actually thinking of copping one. Believe it or not, I'm going to update my profile sites this week!
