Spectrasonics has announced a very exciting contest for Spectrasonics users that includes a FREE Omnisphere soundset (in RMX, WAV and REX2 formats) to download...along with thenew Omnisphere Preview Video#5....check it out.

I see you can only enter the contest if you use their products...makes sense...But what about supplying a link to the samples so we can hear them ourselves and see more of what Omnisphere sounds like. I think it would be good marketing.

Well I think it's about their own customer base. Omnisphere is pretty well explained on youtube on in their own video series. Either you want it or you don't at this point.

I know this will be mentioned in the next issue, but I don't think the samples themselves will be put on the DVD-ROM. I did download them this morning and it's mostly unique pads and musical elements. No drums or bass. I consider them inspirational pieces not really the kinds of loops you make a bread and butter go to sound set.

Weird, but I'm not looking at this as a preset beast. I'm more concerned with what I'm going to make with it.
