| I like Common Ground the best so far of the ones I've listened too. Sounds very old school with like a disco-ish beat slant. You sound like a one-man-army doing it all. Good luck with this.

| I think it's pretty cool stuff but....I think you're a little too down on yourself and the project overall. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the purchasing public. If you're not happy with the project then work it, rework it until you are. You can't (fully) get behind something if you don't believe in it yourself- and then how can you expect us to? The saving grace of the project is the concept. The audio, beats and vocal performance and treatment could have been way better. But I was fighting against cost and limited resources as far as equipment and conditions like not being able to use samples which ultimately sand bagged the project but I had to move forward no matter what. Unless you're selling this project by mass numbers no one cares about sampling or sample-clearance. Selling it as a first time artist on a website is really far under the radar. And if the concept was so hot, you should have waited until you were in a position to be able to do it right. The movie AVATAR is over 10 years old. The writer let it sit until the technology was affordable and he could render his vision. Better that it drops in 2009- fully done then be a cheesie CGI movie from the late 80s. People will miss the concept because: They aren't old enough to recognize what I am referencing lyrically. They won't ever hear the concept because they don't like the music (sound & style) Even though I love this project, I am completely aware of the fact that it is not up to par as far as quality goes.
That goes for every album or project. There's nothing that will please everybody and even if it had Nas and a ton of samples, it might not go over as well as you would think. I think you should put out what you could make within your means. You have gear, you have creativity and you have the drive to make music. That's more going for you than many, many people walking this planet. I also say don't let your creativity be limited by your resources, let your creativity get you more resources. Plan a big trip, but take small steps to get there.

| That's well done. I like the synth line. I stayed quite stable but never gor boring to hear running. You picked a good song too.
