Remember in the beginning how we were flooded with all the porno links? And now it's all these argumentative and angry 17 year-olds wannabes...I gotta laugh with this new trend of people trying to link to cracked software on our youtube page...

Anyone wanna buy the new reason 4.0 for 50$ via paypal add ....

Yesterday I deleter a post about soem free synth-edit plug-in from KVR that's supposed to be better than Spectrasonics Omnisphere. Bwaaahahahahh I love editing the channel. BTW some hot chick thinks the page is run by you and wants a date....

Not really, just grumpy old farts you served with in WWII who want to know how to program their accordians.

Yeah, the porno links were weird and they stopped suddenly. Not saying that I was...checking...them...out..

A'hem. I dunno. I think it was probably the designer trying to get some attention for his plug-in and trying to stir up trouble. You should have probably let it go and let the youtubers goof away. Who cares? Did he just mention it or was there a link?

Did you even check it out to see what he was saying?

Aww damn, Xodus I'm curious now.

I guess that's what he wants. You get amped download their free plug- pray that it even works and you get to make some crappy lazer zap or one more ambient soundscape or surreal pad thingie... if it aint some cheesie techno/raver buzzy lead you would never dare drop in a track. Then you remember..ahhh stay away from free crappy crap.

And I hate when people say Nooo these are the good ones and then it's the same wack ones. It's like the bar is

Kjearhus http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php

SIR Super Impulse Reverb and Ray 73 for Rhodes...

Oh I could go on from our links page...Beat them or be useful.

And I do get emails for you from our Myspace page..strange how they don't reach out using your own profile. careful who you chat with....

I would like to know too. Just because a bit of software costs money or is expensive = class product. There's lots of free software that rivals or outdoes the big guys. As a music production entity you should have at least checked it out. Suppose he was right? Xodus, I think you are talented, but you take all this too seriously like you're some defender of the not-so-common producer.

I challenge you to post the link and let us all judge the plugs worthyness. I'll even write a review for this forum and let everyone know if it's any good. If you're overly concerned with giving hype to a company that does not support your magazine, you can PM me the links to download it.

And I think free software is the better alternative to cracked software and spending a shedload on the latest Waves Bundle and not getting any good results.

After that, I don't think a free plugin is going to beat the 50gig Omnisphere...but since no one has heard anything besides a few cool patches I'm willing to explore until september.

Okay. I'm in. I did this tune this morning....

It's called Time Machine Arabian Princess.

What do you think?

Did you even check it out to see what he was saying?

You mean install it? Hell no. I checked the demos and the designers Myspace pages. I thought it sounded like every other synth that does background music. Loose lettuce. Wasn't impressed at all.

or one more ambient soundscape or surreal pad thingie

You get what you ask for. Okay for that kind of stuff, but messin wit omnisphere no way!

As a music production entity you should have at least checked it out. Suppose he was right? Xodus, I think you are talented, but you take all this too seriously like you're some defender of the not-so-common producer.

How about you shut the hell up? What the hell- I gotta check out every plug in on the internet? And I aint no common dude. That's right. I don't know what your problem is. Do you even make music?

If you're overly concerned with giving hype to a company that does not support your magazine

Sac-face, we have a links page and feature free stuff in the mag too. I think this is some run of the mill regular plug and wasn't impressed and no our youtube channel is not for random spam or free ad space for dudes.

It's called Time Machine Arabian Princess. What do you think?

Sounds okay of you like that stuff. Really doesn't even sound like you used the VST. That sounds like sounds from your regular music so...I don't know. And besides a plug for your myspace page- how about your impressions and I don't even care if 8 million people download this plug and use it. And yes, I'll reformat your siggie later today...

Now Z3TA is an ill VSTi. I think it's in this next issue or maybe that was the next blog or thing for a forum post.

I agree to an extent, but it's usually a free version that gets it done. I love the Free bass low-tone generating Orca from Fxpansion. That's a gift.

And I think free software is the better alternative to cracked software and spending a shedload on the latest Waves Bundle and not getting any good results.

Well said.

@Jane Alias. It's a solid track, but I spent yesterday battling that interface and struggled to get a good bass sound. And it aint just me- cause ALL those tunes lack low end energy. These plugs (cause I tried several) are best used for ambient sounds and evolving pads. And I don't think the claims are that outlandish. It could be the best synth-edit plug out there. The lows kept squaring out on me so I guess you loaded up your own wave kick drum. It's very professional and I do think it's worth looking at.

AND I will reach out and say I could see why some dude might say that on the surface. I don't agree, but that doesn't sound like some clown lookin for attention. From the images I thought it was going to be some kind reason type app with all those on-board synth generators. Promises drums and bass and such...I found myself wanting to use all my other tools. So...

http://www.hgf-synthesizer.de/

Wheel of Fortune 4 by H.G. Fortune is a multipart integrated algorithmic VSTi music system for creating tracks based on 8 instruments-parts: Pad 1 synthesizer, Pad 2 synthesizer, Bass synthesizer, HiSq Synthesizer, Kick, HiHat, Perc3 to Perc5 and Variable Oneshot Sq. Each patch/preset may be a complete musical track, a track for backing a live performance etc. All this can be arranged and composed in two different ways using the algorithmic Wheel mode for free floating or the Scale step mode for harmonically prestructured tracks.

I tried that and the STS-26

STS-26 Synthesizer - Wave-Transition method for absolute unique atmospheres, soundscapes, pads & textures. This synth adds a stunning new dimension and motion for evolving sounds changing completely it's characteristics. Completely new set of 128 wave + 21 loops.
